Dr. Srihari S. Naidu is a nationally-recognized academic interventional cardiologist and Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program at Westchester Medical Center - with offices in Long Island and Westchester.


In addition to general cardiology, Dr. Naidu's areas of expertise include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and alcohol septal ablation, angioplasty and stent placement, aortic and mitral valvuloplasty (and mitral repair - Mitraclip), ASD/PFO closure, and percutaneous ventricular assist devices.


Involved in guiding the interventional cardiology field at the national level, Dr. Naidu is Founder and Past Chair of the Emerging Leader Mentorship (ELM) Program run by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) in partnership with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), is a two-term nationally-appointed representative to the ACC Interventional Scientific Council, and a member of the ACC's Curriculum Design Committee.  He is currently Co-Chair of the Industry Relations Committee for SCAI.


Dr. Naidu serves as an Associate Director of TCT, the largest interventional cardiology professional conference, where he helps run the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Alcohol Septal Ablation technique-training session.  He is a Past Trustee of SCAI, current Trustee of Brown University, and Editor of two textbooks, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Interventional Heart Failure.
