Dr. Srihari S. Naidu is a nationally-recognized general and interventional cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center of Excellence at Westchester Medical Center - with offices in Long Island and Westchester. He is Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.
Dr. Naidu's areas of expertise include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and alcohol septal ablation, angioplasty and stent placement, aortic and mitral valvuloplasty (and mitral repair - Mitraclip), ASD/PFO closure, advanced hemodynamics, LAA occlusion, and percutaneous ventricular assist devices.
Involved in guiding the general cardiology and interventional cardiology fields at the national level, Dr. Naidu is Founder and Past Chair of the SCAI ELM Program, Past Trustee of SCAI, a two-term representative to the ACC Interventional Council, and currently President-Elect for the NY State ACC.
He is Past President of the Brown University Medical School Board of Directors, Trustee Emeritus of Brown University, and Editor of two textbooks, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Interventional Heart Failure.
